This work presents a data visualization technique that combines graph-based topology representation and dimensionality reduction methods to visualize the intrinsic data structure in a low-dimensional vector space. The application of graphs in clustering and visualization has several advantages. A graph of important edges (where edges characterize relations and weights represent similarities or distances) provides a compact representation of the entire complex data set. This text describes clustering and visualization methods that are able to utilize information hidden in these graphs, based on the synergistic combination of clustering, graph-theory, neural networks, data visualization, dimensionality reduction, fuzzy methods, and topology learning. The work contains numerous examples to aid in the understanding and implementation of the proposed algorithms, supported by a MATLAB toolbox available at an associated website.

Graph-based clustering algorithms [6] like spectral clustering regard gene expression data as a complete graph. Hence, clustering in this case becomes a graph partitioning problem. The way how graph-based clustering algorithms utilize graphs for partitioning data is very various.

Thesis Book Novel Graph Based Clustering and Visualization Algorithms for Data Mining. Graph based clustering and data visualization algorithms in matlab Search form The following Matlab project contains the source code and Matlab examples used for graph based clustering and data. visualization methods based on graph-theory enhance the process of visual data analysis by revealing the relations.
Goals and Applied Methods The objective of the present thesis work is to develop. Graph clustering is an important subject, and deals with clustering with graphs. The data of a clustering problem can be represented as a graph where each element to be clustered is represented as a node.
